Our goal at Zynga is to bring players the most fun and social games on the web. Over the past few months, we have had a great time working on CityVille 2, and we thank you for joining us on our sky-high city building journey.

As the Zynga family of games continues to grow, we have had to make hard choices as to where we can best strike a balance between supporting CityVille 2, and creating new games for you and others to play. As a result of this, we are shutting down CityVille 2 to make room for future game offerings.

This decision did not come easily to us. However, in an effort to continue the high level of game maintenance and customer support that we feel our users deserve, we simply have to retire some of the less popular titles from our catalog.
